Eman is a standup comic who cannot believe that some people just don't like funny women.
"I grew up in a house where the women were kind of funnier. The men were funny too, but for some reason, my mother was hilarious. My grandmother was hilarious. My aunts were funny," said Eman.
"It was really a huge shock for me when i heard women aren't funny and i can't believe we are in 2012 and people still say that."
This Thursday, Friday and Saturday she hosts "She is Canadien Eh" at Club Privateer.
