Dish Network is launching a PVR that lets viewers skip commercials -- not just 30 seconds at a time, but entire commercial blocks.
"That is freaking out the television networks [in the United States] and they've filed separate lawsuits against Dish Network to stop this," said CTV Tech columnist Elias Makos.
He also discusses the problems Dell is facing as workplaces move away from desktop PCs, and the 25 percent drop in Facebook's stock price since its Initial Public Offering last week.
