Canadians love to talk about the weather, and anyone in search of new weather-related ideas would be well-served by David Phillips's latest calendar.
The Senior Climatologist for Environment Canada has once again compiled a stunning list for his Canadian Weather Trivia Calendar.
Phillips says there is no longer any doubt: the world is warmer and the weather is changing.
"We clearly know the world is warmer and we know that storms are forming now in the warmer, more moist world. That's the kind of fuel that drives these things," said Phillips.
"So that kind of combination of storms getting a little stormier and people living where they shouldn't be living and doing things, more possessions -- it's sort of a collision of wild weather and people who are quite vulnerable to the weather."
