A 24-year-old man was murdered after going missing Wednesday night.
Police in St. Leonard received a call at 1 a.m. Thursday saying that the man had disappeared.
Officers eventually found his car at the corner of Carignan and Perodeau Avenues, with him inside.
Police initially said there were 'signs of violence' on his body, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
They later confirmed the man had been shot and killed, in the 26th homicide of the year.
The major crimes unit is investigating.
