Kevin Gould found his passion for journalism and writing while attending John Abbott College where he was Editor-in-Chief of the school's newspaper, Bandersnatch.
He went on to earn his BA at Concordia in Broadcast Journalism.
Having never been further west than Waterloo, Ontario, in 1997 Kevin moved to Vancouver where he left writing for a year to work on his management skills. He handled logistics for a sailing expedition involving 17 ships, 200 teenagers and notable guests such as Dr. Jane Goodall and wildlife artist Robert Bateman.
In 1998 Kevin began working at what was then called VTV, later CTV-BC, and now CTV Vancouver, as a news writer and field producer.
In 2003, he jumped at the opportunity to once again move across the continent to a place that he had never visited, New York, New York, to work for ABC News.
His skills as a fast, reliable, and hard-working journalist were recognized and he was soon moved from being a news writer to a segment producer for Good Morning America.
In 2006 Kevin returned to Quebec and began working for CTV Montreal as a lineup editor (aka news program producer).
Since 2010 he has worked full-time as a web reporter while continuing to use his adaptable nature to replace other positions as needed at a moment's notice.
