MARKHAM, Ont. - Caroline Ouellette scored in overtime as the Montreal Stars stayed undefeated at the Clarkson Cup women's hockey tournament with a 1-0 victory Friday over the Boston Blades.
With Kate Buesser off for tripping, Ouellette scored at 3:19 while on the power play to seal the win.
Jenny Lavigne made 27 saves for Montreal (3-0), which will face Boston in a rematch Saturday for the Canadian Women's Hockey League title.
The top two teams in the four-team tournament play for the championship.
The Toronto Furies and the Brampton Thunder are both winless at 0-2, but will play each other in Friday's other game.
Despite the loss, the Blades (2-0-1) are second in the standings with five points, one behind Montreal.
