To help decrease the number of people showing up at Montreal's hospitals, the city's public health department will be running seven flu clinics around the island starting Saturday.
Officials say too many people with the flu or flu-like symptoms are showing up at hospital ERs and the special clinics - located near hospitals - will relieve some of that pressure.
The clinics are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day until Friday, Jan. 16.
The department will decide whether to keep the clinics open longer in the middle of next week.
Officials are recommending you call each clinic before arriving to make sure there are appointments left.
