Traffic jams were intense Friday as motorists attempting to turn left (west) off of Decarie northbound were being rerouted to Snowdon. Delays of half an hour were reported.

Motorists attempting to access the Champlain Bridge via the Bonaventure will also find many of their accesses blocked this weekend as the southbound lanes of the highway, heading toward the Champlain Bridge, will be shut from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Two out of three Montreal-bound lanes will be closed.  The on-ramps from the Ville Marie, Nazareth, and Notre Dame will be closed as well.Construction crews will be paving the road and installing a membrane.

Sherbrooke E wil be closed between 53 and 81 until Sunday at 8 p.m. for construction.

Sections of Highway 13 both north and south will be closed from midnight tonight until 7 a.m. Saturday.

Metro users should also note that the yellow line to the South Shore will be closed all weekend.

The ice bridge will also be inaccessible to bicyclists until Tuesday morning.
