A competitor in the Mont-Tremblant Ironman has died, days after collapsing during the intense triathlon.
According to a race spokesperson, the athlete required medical attention due to an unspecified condition during the race and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The spokesperson said the athlete’s identity would not be released out of respect for their family.
