Police are asking for the public’s helping in finding a 71-year-old woman who has been missing from the South Shore since Sunday morning.

Police are calling the disappearance of Doris Hallé Tremblay very strange.

“It seems to be a person who it is not in her habit to leave without saying something or call to say where she is,” said Yanic Parent, spokesperson for the Richelieu-St. Laurent police.

Hallé Tremblay left her home in Ste. Julie, in the Monteregie, without having touched the breakfast that her husband had prepared for her before he left for a golf game at 9:30 a.m. She also didn’t take her medication.

“When he came back around 4:30, the breakfast, the medication (were still there) and she seems to have left the house without any personal items,” said Parent.

She left in her car, a grey 2015 Nissan Sentra, licence plate P10 HXV. Police say her bank records show one possible transaction.

“There's one but for now it's under investigation, so we're looking for any clues,” said Parent.

No known health issues or problems with drugs or alcohol, police say it's possible she's lost and confused.

“We’re talking about someone who's missing, who may have confusion, who could be disoriented,” said Parent.

Police are tracking her car's GPS, but so far it is offering few clues.

Hallé Doris Tremblay is white, with short brown hair and brown eyes. She is 1.62 m (5’4”) and weighs 58 kg (130 lbs).
