Police looking for minivan after fatal hit and run in Montreal North

A 64-year-old woman is dead after a hit and run Saturday night in Montreal North.

The driver fled the scene after colliding with the woman at 9:30 p.m. while she was crossing Henri-Bourassa Blvd near Balzac Ave.

Police said Monday the woman was hit by a 2011 or later Dodge Caravan, whose driver fled the scene, and then was struck again by another car, but that driver stayed at the scene.

Investigators are looking for the driver of the Dodge Caravan, which is a dark colour and would have damage on its front driver side. Police say it's possible the driver was speeding at the time of the collision.
