Midfielder Ignacio Piatti will be representing the Montreal Impact at the Major League Soccer All-Star Game. The game is against Real Madrid CF in Chicago on August 2nd.

It’s Piatti’s second consecutive nomination after leading the Impact in the first half of the season with eight goals. The Impact's Most Valuable Player in 2015 and 2016 surpassed Marco Di Vaio earlier this season at the top of the scoring chart in MLS history, with 38 goals in regular season play.

Winger Ballou Tabla has also been selected by head coach Brian McBride and assistant coach Mike Magee for the 2017 Homegrown Game set for August 1st.
