The Plateau-Mont-Royal is making its streets safer for pedestrians and cyclists.
The borough approved a motion on Monday to reduce the speed limit on side-streets to 30 km per hour.
Other boroughs in the city such as Outremont have already introduced similar speed zones on their residential streets.
