A Montreal-based videogame maker known for such games as Assassin's Creed and Far Cry 4, among countless other titles, was rewarded for their success as the Canadian Videogame Awards ceremony in Toronto Friday evening.
The ceremonies, which started at 8:15 p.m. and continued well into the night, saw Ubisoft win so often that some quipped that there was no more room at the table to hold the awards.
The Mile End-based Ubisoft is a subsidiary of a French company that established local operations in the 1990s and currently employs over 2,100 in Montreal. The company has since also opened up operations in Toronto.
Here are some of the tweets from the event Friday.
