An 18-year-old man is dead after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a billboard while driving on Highway 20 near Ste. Madeleine.
Police believe that excessive speed was a contributing factor in the accident which occurred near a rest stop area at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
Ste. Madeleine is a town of about 2,500 that sits about 45 km east of downtown Montreal.
