Police are investigating after four home invaders burst through the front door of a house in St. Jude, detained the two people inside and stole belongings and undisclosed amount of cash Saturday night at 11 p.m.

One man suffered minor injuries in the attack at the home at 1150 Rang Salvail.

One of the four attackers was armed with a knife, according to a victim.

The thieves fled in a dark-coloured vehicle estimated to be over a dozen years old.

The victims said that the thieves included two white men and two black men.

St. Jude is a South Shore town of about 2,200 that sits about 75 km east of downtown Montreal.
