There was, of course, no way to know Prince’s surprise shows at Place des Arts last month would be his last in Montreal.
But many who saw the pop superstar in concert those two nights are now happy they went – Prince Rogers Nelson was found dead at his recording studio in Minnesota Thursday morning. He was 57.

The cause of death has not yet been revealed, but Prince postponed a show in Atlanta earlier this month after coming down with the flu.
