Montreal has a reputation for being one of the more affordable places to live in Canada, but when it comes to high-end real estate, the island does have its share of exclusive properties.

That includes one property in Senneville that just sold for $10.2 million.

The house itself covers 20,000 square feet, and the parcel of land is almost 50,000 square feet, set on the Lake of Two Mountains.

There are 10 bedrooms, seven bathrooms and three powder rooms.

It comes with its own racquetball court, an indoor swimming pool, stables for horses, and a four-car garage.

The house has no fewer than six fire places.

The foyer on the main floor is 30 feet high, and the entrance is covered with marble flooring. It also features a huge wrought-iron staircase that leads to all four floors, as well as an elevator.

There are two massive dining rooms, a home theatre that resembles a real theatre, a top-of-the-line kitchen with mahogany cabinets, an Egyptian-themed bathroom, a gym, a poolside bar and more luxuries, too.

The municipal evaluation is set at $6.5 million, with a total annual tax bill of $58,000.

The buyers are remaining anonymous for the time being.

For a tour of the mansion, watch the video above, put together by Sotheby's, the real-estate company which sold the property.

The mansion is not even the most expensive house on the market in the area right now – Sotheby’s currently has another similar property on sale on Nuns’ Island for $12 million. That house, however, comes equipped with only seven bedrooms with a much smaller piece of land around it.
