A missing teenager returned home Tuesday night at 11 p.m. and police said she is safe and sound.

The family of 17-year-old Zanabe Robertston had issued a plea to the public earlier in the week to help find their daughter.

They were worried for her safety because Robertson was no longer answering her cell phone nor replying text messages from her mother.

Police thought she was somewhere in the West Island, spending time at fast food restaurants.
