MONTREAL—A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed several times during an altercation on City Councillors St. on Monday night.
The stabbing took place after a fight broke out at 10:30 p.m between two men and one of them tried to flee. The fleeing man was stabbed at the intersection of City Councillors St. and Ste-Catherine St.
The victim was transported to hospital where he is in critical but stable condition. The victim was known to police.
The suspect fled the scene and is still on the lam.
