MONTREAL - Two men were injured Sunday night in a fight at a residence in Verdun.
During the altercation, a man was stabbed in the abdomen. He managed to leave the Gordon St. home and took refuge in a nearby park, where he contacted emergency services.
He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, police say.
When police showed up at the residence, they found a man with an injury to his hand.
He was arrested and is expected to appear at the Montreal courthouse Monday.
