MONTREAL—The Montreal police are searching for four men after a home invasion in LaSalle shortly after midnight on Sunday left a man and woman shaken.
The men wore masks as they forced their way into the home at the corner of Jean-Milot St. and des Oblats St. Two people were inside at the time; a 22-year-old man was beaten and detained along with a 19-year-old woman.
One of the men was carrying a gun, but no shots were fired.
The suspects fled the apartment on foot, having taken money and jewelry during the raid. The man and woman were transported to an area hospital and treated for shock.
The Montreal police are investigating.
