A woman in her 30s was wounded in the arm by a stray bullet after several shots were fired near the metro station on Ile Ste-Helene on Saturday night.
According to police, her injuries are not life threatening.
A 31-year-old man who was in possession of a handgun was arrested. Police said the man and woman do not know each other.
The suspect will appear in court on Monday.
