Longueuil police are investigating the origins of four fires, believed to be arson, set overnight on Bellevue St. in Greenfield Park.

The first call was lodged with emergency responders around 3:20 a.m. when a recycling bin was ignited.

Over the course of the next hour or so, a total of four fires appears along the street--one reportedly in the shed behind a house.

The fire in the shed spread and damaged two neighbouring properties.

A 60-year-old man sustained minor damages to his hands while trying to extinguish one of the blazes.

Police say they have not made any arrests, and they do not have any suspects at this time.
