LONGUEUIL, Que. - A toddler is in stable condition after being found unconscious in a residential swimming pool in Longueuil, Que.
The incident involving the one-and a half year old child occurred just before 9 p.m. Thursday in the community just south of Montreal.
A family member found the unconscious toddler, who had to be resuscitated prior to being taken to hospital.
Police were investigating to determine how the child ended up in the pool but said they believe he fell into the water after hitting his head.
