Major construction on the Turcot Interchange begins Monday, and will require detours and lane closures as of Sunday evening.

On Monday August 18 the ramp that connects the 720 West with Highway 15 South will be closed.

Drivers will have to detour via the Decarie Expressway and loop around at the Cote St. Luc Rd. exit, or continue on Highway 20 until the Angrignon exit and turn around.

Later in the week, on Friday, Transport Quebec will close the ramp from Highway 20 East to the 15 North.

The provincial agency is recommending drivers affected by that closure continue heading east until they reach the Guy St. exit on the 720 and loop around to the 720 West.

In both cases work will continue until mid-November then resume in the spring when temperatures warm up.
