The latest Leger poll shows a decline in support for Pierre Karl Peladeau and the Parti Quebecois.

After undecided voters are taken into account, 36 percent of Quebecers favour the governing Liberal party, while 29 percent favour the PQ, and 21 percent prefer the CAQ.

Quebec Solidaire is the choice of 10 percent of Quebecers.

That's a slight increase in support for the Liberals and the CAQ, with a corresponding decline in the PQ compared to a Leger poll taken in November 2015.

The poll was conducted by Leger for Le Devoir and the Journal de Montreal.

When it comes to their choice for the best leader in Quebec, 23 percent name Premier Philippe Couillard, 17 pick Peladeau, 15 percent name Francois Legault and 11 percent favour Francoise David.

1006 people were polled from Feb. 1 to 4, and the margin of error is 3.1 percent 19 times out of 20.
