The largest street sale in Canada is taking place on Ste. Catherine St. in Montreal this weekend.
Ste. Catherine St. West is closed is a pedestrian zone and is closed to traffic for more than one kilometre, between Bleury and St. Marc Sts. This is the 15th edition of the open-air market, which also includes dancers, musicians and DJs, as well as an antique car show near Guy St.
Shops are open until 7 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.
On Saturday night at 8:30 p.m., Cirque du Soleil’s Guy Laliberte will present Terrakarnavale, a contemporary arts carnival with over 1000 participants in imaginiative costumes.
