Highway worker, 19, dies after Saint Lazare accident

MONTREAL - A young road worker has died of injuries suffered in an overnight accident that occurred while he was while working on Highway 40 near Saint-Lazare.
According to preliminary investigation, the worker, aged 19, appears to have somehow fallen under the wheels of a work truck while conducting his tasks at around 3 a.m. Wednesday
His colleague driving the truck appeared to have been initially unaware of the accident.
The SQ provincial police and CSST workers' safety board are investigating.
