Habs prospect Nathan Beaulieu, who has flown under the radar with Hamilton this season, scored in Rochester Friday to help the Bulldogs to a 2-1 victory over the Americans, giving the Bulldogs their sixth straight win.

Beaulieu opened the scoring with a wrist shot on the power play at 6:57 of the first period and Justin Courtnall - nephew of former Hab Russ Courtnall - then scored his second of the season at 6:08 of the second period, for what would prove to be the winner.

Dustin Tokarski played a strong game once again, turning back 19 shots for the win, allowing only a goal by Michael Catenacci for the Americans who are now 14-14-6.

Beaulieu has three goals and nine assists in 30 games for the Bulldogs this season, behind his pace of last year when he tied for the team lead in points with 31 in 67 games.

After a slow start, the Bulldogs are now 18-14-4 and second in the North Division, three points behind the Toronto Marllies.
