Cheer up, Habs fans who are worried about the team's recent losing skid -- the team wants you to let it (your concerns? yourself?) go.

The Montreal Canadiens channel their inner Disney princesses in a new video released by the team Thursday. Someone somehow convinced Brendan Gallagher, Carey Price, Max Pacioretty, Alex Galchenyuk, P.K. Subban and other members of the team to record a cover of Let It Go, a song from Disney’s 2013 smash hit Frozen. You know, that song everyone who has young children, knows young children or who loves Disney movies has heard at least once (if not a million times).

It’s a natural fit, if you think about it. Elsa and Anna live in a frozen kingdom, the Habs play in frozen kingdoms… kind of…

Gallagher is first up, beaming as he warbles through the opening lines of the song, but naturally the team’s de facto captain, Carey Price, is the first to belt out the famous chorus. Subban wraps up the performance, using his fake microphone (hand) to truly show off his vocal range (debatable).

Shout outs to Mike Condon, who shows he can hold a note for a couple of seconds, Dale Weise and Tomas Fleischmann, who really get into it, Galchenyuk, who couldn’t look less impressed, and the Emelin, who proves not long after that yes, someone can look less impressed. And then there’s Pacioretty, who looks and sounds like he’s falling asleep.

The Habs, who have dropped three games in a row, are playing in Detroit Thursday night.
