The dates and times for four more federal debates have been confirmed, with a fifth confrontation still being negotiated.
The next time Stephen Harper, Tom Mulcair and Justin Trudeau meet face-to-face will be on Sept. 17, 2015, at a debate hosted by the Globe and Mail.
The following week Radio-Canada will host a French-language debate that will be attended by Harper, Mulcair, Trudeau and by Bloc Quebecois leader Gilles Duceppe and Green Party leader Elizabeth May.
This debate, on Sept. 24, is also sponsored by CTV News, Global News, Tele-Quebec and the newspaper La Presse.
A few days later, on Sept. 28, Harper, Mulcair and Trudeau will take part in a bilingual Munk debate on foreign policy. No other party leaders were invited.
On Oct. 2 four of the leaders are expected to take part in a French-language debate at TVA moderated by Pierre Bruneau. May's participation has not been confirmed.
A consortium of broadcast companies, including CTV, has invited leaders to participate in another English-language debate on Oct. 8. So far Trudeau and May have agreed to participate, while Harper has declined.
