Three buildings in the Shaughnessy Village were evacuated after a fire early on Saturday morning.
The blaze started in the bedroom of a third floor apartment at 1187 Hope Ave. and then spread to the roof.
The neighbouring buildings were evacuated as a precaution and those residents were able to return hom at 9:00 a.m.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
