Major construction resumes on the Turcot Interchange next week.

Two ramps will be closed for at least 13 weeks while crews inspect and repair the concrete slab and the support structure of the elevated ramps.

The ramp from the 20 east to the Decarie Expressway (Highway 15 North) closes on April 6, while the exit from the Ville Marie West to Highway 15 South shuts down the day after.

Transport Quebec's recommended detours are to go past the closed ramp and then loop around at the following exit. For drivers trying to head north that means going east until Guy St. and then getting on the Ville Marie Westbound, and approaching the 15 North from downtown.

Drivers en route to the South Shore are being told to go to Angrignon Blvd. then turn around and take the 20 East.

The cost of this repair work, which began last year, is $10,000,000.
