The Sûreté du Québec is reminding drivers to take it easy on the roads this holiday weekend.
There will be increased surveillance by patrollers through the weekend who will target speeders, those not wearing seat belts, drinking and driving and cell phone use.
Last year during the same long weekend, nine people were killed on Quebec roads and 302 people were injured.
