Police have reason to believe a double murder in Brossard earlier this month is linked to organized crime.

Longueuil police are now working with the Sureté du Quebec to investigate the murders of Mohamed Odeh and Kevin Paul.

The bodies of the two men were discovered late Monday at the edge of a hiking trail south of the intersection of Highways 10 and 30.

Police said that neither man had a criminal record but both were known to police.

The involvement of the SQ comes as the result of new information gathered by police.

Longueuil police once again urged anyone with any information about the murders to call them at 450-463-7211 or to call 9-1-1.
