If you're using the Jacques Cartier Bridge to get to Ile Ste. Helene this weekend, you'll face detours.

The ramp to island from the South-Shore-bound side of the bridge will eb closed from 10 p.m Friday May 13 until Sunday at 10 a.m.

Those leaving the island will have to go into Montreal first and detour via De Maisonneuve Blvd. before heading to the South Shore.

Crews are waterproofing the concrete road deck, exactly as was done several weeks ago on the ramps on the other side of the bridge.
