This weekend's largest construction problem in Montreal will be on Highway 20 East.

The ramp from the Mercier Bridge/Route 138 to Highway 20 East will once again be closed as of 11 p.m. Friday Aug. 11 until 5 a.m. Monday.

As of midnight Friday Highway 20 East will be reduced to one lane from the St. Pierre Interchange most of the way to the Angrignon Blvd. overpass.

Everything will return to normal at 5 a.m. Monday.

But don't forget: long-term work is taking place on Highway 20 between Highway 13 and St. Pierre Ave.

Highway 15

The De la Verendrye exit from Highway 15 North (Exit 62) will be closed as of Friday Aug. 11 at 11 p.m.

It will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

Jacques Cartier Bridge

With the fireworks festival over, repair work will be done this weekend on the Jacques Cartier Bridge.

Several ramps will be closed, including from the Bridge to Taschereau Blvd. East/Highway 20/Highway 132.

The ramp from Highway 134 East to Highway 20/132 will also be closed.

Crews will be replacing expansion joints and waterproof membranes, as well as repairing concrete.

That work starts at 11 p.m. Friday and will continue until 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Meanwhile the ramp from the bridge to St. Lawrence Blvd., which was closed on July 9, will remain closed for another month.
