Tony Accurso has finally received his subpoena to appear before the Charbonneau Commission.

The former head of Louisbourg construction is suspected of being a key player involved in corruption and collusion in the construction industry.

He's being told to be available during the week of Sept. 1.

This week, Accurso filed a motion at the Supreme Court of Canada to quash the order to testify.

Accurso's lawyer argues says the anti-corruption squad UPAC is trying to gather evidence against him, which is a violation of his constitutional rights

Accurso continues to face multiple fraud charges.
