Wilde Horses

- Price with another busy night and again he makes some saves that should not be stopped look so easy as he slides over and is square to the puck. Another over-40 night and I know he's the best in the world but he won't be if he can't stand from exhaustion in February.

- Daniel Carr drew a penalty and he made a sweet pass to Desharnais for a quality chance. That was what the coaching staff wanted and he delivered.

- The fourth line continue to play outstanding hockey. They communicate well and earn offensive zone time consistently.

- Galchenyuk with an absolutely gorgeous goal upstairs stands out just for the talent of the moment.

- Weber with another goal and another solid game. He's so smart when he is in trouble. He protects territory so well and understands danger as well as you'll see. And again he finds the net on the power play from a very tough angle in the corner. This is a place I criticized the Habs for setting up all season with Subban last year. I said it was poor percentage for the shooter. Well, Weber has five goals now.

Wilde Goats

- The Plekanec line is struggling to create chances together. It's been a very tough start for Plekanec who for years was able to play the opposition's best and succeed offensively as well. We will continue to see if he can recover but it does seem like there is less in his game.

- That shot total continues to be a trouble spot. Didn't think the quality of the Bruins shots was the same as the Flyers and Blue Jackets high quality but the number is so high that it has to be concerning. The total they're getting is anemic as well. Not a great hockey team and the Habs were held to 12 shots in two periods. The Habs gave up 43 again. That is cause for concern but the point totals are so good that one can believe that Price can be Price through this.

- To finish on a positive, they continue to find a way. How they do is shocking and any knowledgeable hockey guy will say it cannot continue but while the experts get confounded, the points just keep chalking up in the win column. It’s 23 out of a possible 26. They'll figure out how to even out how to even the ice one day and you know Price will still be Price.
