MONTREAL - A man who was fighting for his life after suffering bullet injuries in a St. Leonard double shooting Wednesday has died.
The victim, 34, was not known to police and was not known to be involved in any illicit or underworld activity.
The man was shot at 2:35 a.m. on Wednesday August 29 at the Quo Vadis Cafe at 6075 Belanger by two masked men who fled and remain unapprehended.
The crime is the 21st homicide of 2012. There were 23 at this time last year.
The other shooting victim, 24, was shot in the upper body but his life is not in danger.
