MONTREAL - Georges Laraque was an enforcer during his 12-year NHL career, battling to protect smaller players on his teams.
Known as one of the toughest guys on the ice, the image he projects now is completely different.
Vegan. Animal rights advocate. Deputy leader of the federal Green party.
Along with author Pierre Thibeault, Georges Laraque has written a book about his life called "Georges Laraque, The Story Of The NHL's Unlikeliest Tough Guy."
