Police are investigating an attempted murder in Anjou Tuesday evening, after a man showed up at a relative's home covered in blood.
A man in his fifties turned up at the door of a relative in a condo building on Ponts-de-Cé St. near Jarry around 7:20 p.m.
The victim had driven his car up to the parking lot of the building.
The relative called an ambulance and the victim was soon rushed to hospital. The man had been shot at least once.
As of Wednesday morning he remains in critical condition.
Police are investigating the incident and say so far they have no motive and no description of a possible suspect.
They have, however, confirmed that the victim is "known to police."
