Longueuil police arson squad investigators are searching for clues after a popular restaurant on South Shore Taschereau Blvd suffered damage in an overnight arson attack.
Nobody was injured, however, after attackers tossed an incendiary device on the property of the La Belle Province at the intersection of Taschereau and Robillard at about 2:00 a.m. Monday.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the attack. Damage was minimal as firefighters extinguished a small fire on the roof.
