The arson squad is investigating a fire at a bar on Sherbrooke St. on the border between Westmount and NDG.
Witnesses told police they saw a man flee from the Liquid Lounge in a car at 4:20 a.m. Friday, shortly before seeing flames coming from the establishment.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire without much difficulty, but they inspected the building thoroughly -- including the roof -- to ensure the damage was limited.
The witnesses were not able to give police a good description of the suspect or his vehicle.
