The warmer weather has meant less snow at Montreal’s Fête des neiges, but that didn't stop people from going this year.

Organizers say more than 100,000 visitors attended during the four weekends the festival was running.

It was quite the change from last year, when the cold scared away many, particularly those with young families.

Milder and drier temperatures even forced the city to truck in snow from Mont St-Bruno this week.

Still, it’s hardly summertime out there. A group of about 50 brave souls jumped into the snow wearing nothing but their bathing suits. It was worth it for one of them, who won a trip to much warmer climes in Cuba for the effort.

This is the last weekend for the winter festival at Jean-Drapeau Park.
